The incoming message from the distress signal game carries the launch command code. The final game is the Pi itself. Players type the code at the keyboard, and the screen shows a success message telling them they have launched the ship.

It was not always that simple. The first group to play got a pygame mini-game with mouse and keyboard as the finale, and it turned out to be too convoluted for the end of a session. It was removed before the second group played, and the ending became the code entry alone.

This is the only game that runs entirely on the brain. There is no board, no sensor, and nothing to wire, just the same script that has been listening to the serial ports all session, waiting for the last input.
